Follow the simple steps described below on how to create a CS-Cart data feed for Facebook Shopping Cart
Step 1 - Login into your account

- Login in to your CS-Cart Admin.
- Click on the Administration tab
- Click on the Data feeds link.
- Click on the + Add data feed button on the right side
Step 2 - Fill in the fields in tha data feed window

Explanation of the data fields
- Data feed name - For example: Facebook. This name will be used as a preset next time you want to export a data feed to Facebook.
- Filename - Give a name for the file to export (keep the CSV extension and do not use spaces, use underscore instead) e.g. facebook_01082011.csv
- Language - Language of the data in the feed (this is the language that you want to appear in your Facebook Shop).
- Category delimiter - Delimiter to separate child and parent categories (just leave the default values: //).
- Images directory - Directory where product images are located. Used for images without a path specified (just leave the default values).
- Files directory - Directory where files for downloadable products are located. Used for files without a path specified (just leave the default values).
- Price decimal separator - Decimal separator for product prices.
- CSV delimiter - Delimiter to separate data in the feed. For our shopping cart you need to select: Comma from the dropdown menu.
- Status - Status of the data feed (Active or Disabled). Leave the default value Active.
- Server directory - Directory on your server where the data feed will be exported to. Make sure the directory has writable permissions.
- FTP server - URL of the target directory on the FTP server to which the data feed must be uploaded. Leave these values blank.
- Click on the Create button to continue to the next step.
- Then click on the Exported items tab - A new window opens, proceed to Step 3
Step 3 - Choose the categories and products that you want to export to your Facebook Shopping Cart

- Click on the Exported items tab
- Click on the + Add Categories link
- A new window opens - Choose the categories that you want to export to your Facebook Shop
- Click on the Add Categories and Close button

- Click on the + Add Products link
- A new window opens - Choose the products that you want to export to your Facebook Shop
- Click on the Add products and close button

Step 4 - Fields mapping

Now you have to map (correspond) the CS-Cart filed names with the field names required by Facebook Shopping Cart
In the column FIELD NAME column enter the names exactly as shown in the image above and table below (including underscores).
Click on the Save button to save your new data.

Step 5 - Dowload and save the CSV file to your local computer and email the file to us
In order to export yout data feed you have to download and save the generated CSV file it to your local computer.
- Click on the download tab
- Wait about 30 seconds, CS-Cart will now export your products and create the CSV file
- A window appears prompting you to save the file to your local computer.
